Charlie Young
Master K-9 trainer Charles Young has worked over 20 plus years as a Law Enforcement professional. He holds two college degrees, one in Criminal Justice and the other in Sociology with a minor in Criminology.
In his professional career, he was employed by the Barnstable County Sheriff’s Office for 20 years. During his employment, He went through three K-9 academies and was assigned full time to the Massachusetts State Police Narcotics Unit/District Attorney's Office for 11 years. He was involved in local, state and federal narcotic cases that resulted in numerous convictions.
Charlie then became a certified K-9 trainer where he went through a rigorous 8-month training academy. He completed one of the top K-9 Decoy training schools in the country. He then began training over 140-plus Law Enforcement K-9 teams throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Certifying K-9 teams in Narcotics, Firearms/Ballistics, Cell Phones, Patrol/Apprehension and Search & Rescue. He is also a certified evaluator for the American Kennel Club for the Canine Good Citizen, S.T.A.R. Puppy Program, A.K.C. Community Canine/Advanced Level Canine Good Citizen, Urban Canine Good Citizen and A.K.C. Trick Dog Test.
Charlie is the head K-9 trainer at Professional Canine Services and continues to strive to succeed as one of the top trainers in Massachusetts.
